Over the 10 months of 2023, Bashkir grain processing enterprises more than tripled the supply of their products to foreign markets, the Rosselkhoznadzor department for the Republic reported.
Wheat and rye flour was exported to Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. All 127 batches of regulated products weighing 6320.8 tons were inspected and processed by Rosselkhoznadzor. From January to October last year, flour mills in Bashkiria exported 1,981 tons of flour abroad.
“Selected flour samples underwent laboratory testing. Based on the results of entomological and herbological examinations, no harmful organisms were identified in export products. Wheat and rye flour meet the requirements of importing countries,” the supervisory agency emphasized.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the largest oil extraction plants in Bashkiria, located in Kumertau and Chishmy, almost doubled the volume of exports of granulated sunflower meal over the 10 months of 2023.
The geography of supplies of feed additives for farm animals has expanded from four to six countries. About 145 thousand tons of products were shipped to Belarus, Germany, China, Latvia, the Netherlands, and Norway. The supervisory agency clarified that this year, the export volumes of granulated sunflower meal increased by 70 thousand tons more than a year earlier.
