In Bashkiria, annual inflation has increased by 1.25% since September and amounted to 5.77% in October, according to the National Bank of the Republic. This is lower than in the Volga Federal District (6.4%) and the Russian Federation (6.7%).
Food prices rose 5.6% compared to October 2022 (3.7% in September).
Non-food products rose 4.7% more than a year ago (3.4% in September).
Services (including transport and banking) - by 7.61% (7.63% in September).
Experts say the main reason for the rise in prices is the increased costs of producers, including due to the weakening of the ruble.
The Central Bank regulates inflation by increasing the key rate. The monetary authorities have made it clear that the period of tight monetary policy will be long, especially since the effect of raising the key rate will only be felt in about nine months, said the head of the Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, to regulate the real estate market, the authorities are discussing the introduction of different preferential mortgage rates depending on the region - it is proposed to establish higher interest rates in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other large cities with active demand.
