From January 1, 2024, the state labor inspectorate in the Republic reported that the minimum wage in Bashkiria, considering the regional coefficient, will be 22,128 rubles.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the State Duma adopted a bill in the third and final reading to increase the minimum wage to 19,242 monthly rubles from January 1, 2024.
“The obligation of employers to set wages not lower than the minimum wage is prescribed in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. The monthly salary of an employee who has fully worked the standard working hours during this period and fulfilled his job duties cannot be lower than the minimum wage. In 2023 in the republic, this is 18,678 rubles since the regional coefficient is calculated above the minimum wage,” noted Oksana Vanskova, deputy head of the State Labor Inspectorate.
Let us recall that in Bashkiria, there is an agreement on the minimum wage for 2023–2025, signed by representatives of the republican tripartite commission to regulate social and labor relations.
