Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Ilshat Fazrakhmanov announced an upcoming agreement between the republic and China on the supply of agricultural products. The document is planned to be signed at the XVI International Business Week in Ufa on November 23.
“Today, China is the most promising destination for the export of agricultural products from Bashkortostan. The Republic already supplies several goods to the Celestial Empire. There are prospects to increase volumes and range. The priority area of cooperation is the export of fat and oil products (sunflower and rapeseed oil, meal), meat products and their by-products, sugar, dry dairy products, and perennial grass seeds.” — Ilshat Fazrakhmanov commented.
The regional vice-premier also said that the agreement provides for creating new jobs as part of implementing joint investment projects with the PRC.
Let us remind you that the International Business Week starts in Ufa on November 22 - it is expected to be attended by delegations from 15 countries, including China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Turkey, Iran, and others. The annual economic event will bring together more than 4 thousand people. On the sidelines of the forum, more than 50 business events will be held, at which more than 400 speakers at the federal and international levels will speak.
