Over the 10 months since the beginning of the year, agricultural enterprises of Bashkortostan have shipped 5,271 wagons of grain with a total weight of 370.8 thousand tons by rail. Of these, 4,193 wagons, or 297.2 thousand tons, were sent for export.
Compared to January-October last year, shipments abroad increased almost 4.5 times (over 10 months of 2022 - 939 wagons with a volume of 66.9 thousand tons).
Bashkir grain - wheat, barley, oilseeds, flax, and rye - was sent to Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, South Africa, Belarus, and other countries.
489 grain wagons weighing 34.1 thousand tons were shipped by rail in October of this year.
In the structure of Bashkortostan agricultural products export, grain crops occupy about 13%. Oil and fat products are still in first place – 64.3%.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the republic will export its agricultural products to 30 countries this year.
