After introducing sanctions, Russian agricultural producers gained a high pace of development with the help of state support. The government will allocate 8 billion rubles for subsidies to purchase agricultural machinery this year to maintain this momentum.
In the next two months, it is planned to deliver almost 6 thousand Russian and Belarusian tractors to the regions. Farmers will be able to purchase them at fixed prices with discounts that will save up to 20% of the market value of the machine. Compensation will come from the federal budget.
As the press service of the Federal Cabinet explained, the amount of such subsidies for the purchase of equipment will consider various factors, including the remoteness of the territories and the logistics organization.
For farmers of the Far East, the discount has been increased from 15% to 20%. This will help level out transportation costs to remote regions.
For agricultural producers from new regions, the discount will be 15%. The exact discount amount will continue to apply to farmers from the Kaliningrad region, Crimea, and areas of the Siberian Federal District. For all other regions (including Bashkiria), the discount will be 10%.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, over the 10 months of this year, Bashkir farmers purchased 2.4 thousand units of new equipment worth 11 billion rubles - 10% more than in January-October 2022.
