Bashkortostan will debt relief on budget loans
The debt relief will equal the income received by the federal treasury in 2022 from investment projects implemented in the republic.
12 regions received the opportunity to write off debt on budget loans in the amount of tax revenues that came to the federal budget in 2022 from implementing investment projects. The Prime Minister signed the order, which will be published, the press service of the Russian government reported.
We discuss regions actively developing the infrastructure necessary to launch new investment projects. These are Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, Altai, Transbaikal, Krasnodar and Perm regions, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk and Tomsk regions. The total debt relief for these regions will be more than 8.2 billion rubles.
The decision will reduce the debt burden on regional budgets and allocate additional funds to develop priority projects.
The mechanism for debt relief on budget loans applies to investment projects implemented in priority sectors. This includes agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, housing, and road construction.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, some large projects are being implemented in Bashkiria with the help of budget loans.
