More than 80% of oilseed crops are threshed in Bashkiria
The farms of Bashkiria are completing the harvest of oilseeds: 83% of the area has now been threshed - 338 thousand hectares. The gross harvest of oilseeds amounted to 441 thousand tons.
The republic harvested 12 thousand tons of mustard, 9.7 thousand tons of soybeans, 38 thousand tons of flax, and 28.6 thousand tons of rapeseed.
As for the main oilseed crop, sunflower, today, 82% of the sown 288 thousand hectares have been threshed. 350 thousand tons of oil seeds were collected.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, in 2022, the sunflower harvest in the region amounted to more than 449 thousand tons with an average yield of 1.55 tons/ha, and 303 thousand hectares were sown.
The country's gross harvest of major oilseeds currently amounts to almost 24 million tons, of which 14.1 million tons are sunflowers and 5.4 million tons of soybeans.
