Ministry of Trade spoke about cooperation with other regions and countries

At an operational meeting of the government, the Minister of Trade of the Republic, Aleksey Gusev, reported on the interaction of the Bashpotrebsoyuz with cooperatives in the regions of the Russian Federation and other countries.

He says work is being carried out with the Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Kaliningrad, Leningrad regions, and Altai Territory.

“The subject of the agreements, in addition to bilateral relations and exchange of experience, is the supply of goods. We held a trade and purchasing conference in Yekaterinburg, and goods were delivered to Kaliningrad and the Chelyabinsk region, Altai. We are now exploring the possibility of supplying flour and sugar to the Leningrad region,” the minister said.

Alexey Gusev also signed a cooperation agreement with the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies and the Minsk Regional Union of Consumer Societies.

As a result of the visit to Iran in October 2022, control samples of products arrived in Bashkiria, which, after laboratory tests, can go on sale.

In May last year, a business mission to Uzbekistan took place, after which work was carried out to form a pool of potential suppliers to the wholesale food market.

Two trading houses and one joint venture have been created to sell Bashkir products to Uzbekistan.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the turnover of consumer societies and cooperatives in Bashkiria at the end of 2022 reached 6.5 billion rubles.
