Ski resorts, amusement parks, and water parks are included in preferential lending program
The Russian government has included in the preferential lending program the construction of infrastructure for large ski resorts, amusement parks, and water parks, the press service of the Russian government reported. The Prime Minister signed the corresponding decree. In this way, the authorities intend to stimulate the development of domestic and inbound tourism.
According to the program, investors will be able to receive preferential loans for the construction or reconstruction of year-round amusement parks, water parks, and ski resort infrastructure.
According to the conditions, parks must be designed for 1 million visitors annually, and ski resorts must be for 450 thousand visitors annually. These indicators must be achieved two years after the facility is operated.
It is possible to obtain a syndicated loan (loan from several banks) and allocate a subsidy from the budget for partial repayment of such a loan. This will reduce and distribute the load between authorized banks.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the republic is preparing an investment project to develop the Mratkino ski resort in the Beloretsky district, the estimated cost of which has reached 8 billion rubles.
