China takes first place in Bashkiria foreign trade turnover with share of 23.6%

Bashkiria is among the most active participants in foreign economic activity, with more than 100 countries among its foreign partners. Based on the results of January-August, China continues to take first place in the foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan with a share of 23.6%.

“We continue to develop cooperation with Chinese partners. For instance, Bashkiria has increased its exports of forage to China, shipping 1,574 tons of products this year. In addition to China, the top 10 export counterparty countries of the republic include Turkey, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, Latvia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, and Iran. In 2023, exports to the UAE increased by more than 13 times,” Andrey Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan, posted on his social media page.

He also noted that within the framework of the international export forum “Made in Russia,” an award ceremony was held for the winners of the federal stage of the All-Russian competition “Exporter of the Year”. Urallesexport LLC from Bashkortostan was awarded in the category “Best Exporter in the Field of E-Commerce”.

Andrey Nazarov explained that seven practices for supporting exports in Bashkortostan were presented at the forum. They were among the best at the federal level. Thus, the republic reimburses expenses associated with transporting goods, obtaining international certification, and “Export Cashback” has been successfully introduced. This year, 50 million rubles were allocated from the republic’s budget alone to reimburse export logistics costs. In addition, supported exports amounted to 1.5 billion. As a result, 28.99 rubles of supported exports are accounted for 1 ruble of subsidy.
