Road builders completed overhauling a 13-kilometer section of the M-7 Volga highway - from 1192 to 1205 km a month ahead of schedule, the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov reported in his telegram channel.
The section passes through the village of Verkhneyarkeyevo, Ilishevsky district. The road surface here has been completely replaced. We installed 10.3 km of barrier fencing. Markings were applied, noise strips were made before pedestrian crossings, and 316 road signs were installed.
Security was given the utmost attention, noted Radiy Khabirov. To minimize the risk of road accidents, lanes were increased on the section with a long slope. 6 km of the route were illuminated. Road workers have equipped pedestrian sidewalks along the highway, which passes through the village of Verkhneyarkeyevo. And where the federal road intersects the municipal one, a traffic light was installed.
“We have developed a powerful partnership with Rosavtodor, and I am grateful to its leadership for the support they provide us to develop federal highways. And we still have many plans and joint projects,” said the Head of Bashkiria.
