Today, as part of the II All-Russian Forum and Exhibition “Breaking Barriers”, which takes place in the Ufa Congress Hall “Toratau”, Bashkortostan enterprises signed agreements with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives on training, retraining, and employment of people with disabilities.
National inclusive agreements within the framework of the “Open to All” project were signed with 20 leading companies, including Ufa Airport, Bashinformsvyaz, the Republican Gerontological Center “Imenlek” and private enterprises. Employers undertake to train people with disabilities, create jobs and working conditions for them, and purchase production equipment on which disabled people can work.
“More than 500 companies have already joined the project. And today, another 20 enterprises from the republic are joining us. The project is aimed at attracting business to create an accessible environment, adapting goods and services for people with disabilities, and providing employment and training opportunities for these people,” said Maria Voronova, head of the “Open to All” project.
