The Russian government has allocated an additional 5 billion rubles to conduct research and development work for enterprises creating innovative products. This will make it possible to finance about 70 projects in metallurgy, machine tool building, chemical industry, transport, oil and gas, and heavy engineering.
With the help of the allocated funds, enterprises will be able to offset part of the costs for the preparation and purchase of equipment, components, raw materials, and supplies, the production of prototypes, and the development and bringing to market a wide range of import-substituting products.
“Such developments are in demand on the Russian market, and we expect that in the next 4 years, the revenue from their implementation will exceed 300 billion rubles for all projects that have received government support,” noted Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The head of government also recalled that over the past 4 years, almost 50 billion rubles have been allocated for research and development work. More than 300 projects significant for the country's socio-economic development and the achievement of technological sovereignty received funds.
