Seasonal decrease in prices for vegetables and increase in poultry meat in Bashkiria

According to the Bashkir Statistical Agency, in the food market in September 2023 compared to August, prices for chicken eggs and turkey meat increased the most. In addition, prices for chilled and frozen chicken, poultry culinary products, sausages, boiled sausage, salted herring, salmon caviar, frozen squid, and shrimp have increased.

A price increase was recorded for bread, bakery products and flour, olive and sunflower oil, canned vegetables, fruit juices, cereals and legumes, tea, soft drinks, and cocoa.

Multidirectional price dynamics emerged for dairy products: price indices varied from 97.2% (pasteurized milk) to 104.2% (milk for children).

The following fruit and vegetable products have become cheaper: potatoes, onions, beets, white cabbage, carrots, grapes, and apples. At the same time, prices for cucumbers, tomatoes, pears, lemons, oranges, and bananas have increased. A slight price reduction was recorded for certain confectionery, pasta, and mayonnaise types.
