Bashkiria farmers intend to collect at least 4 million tons of grain next year

Bashkortostan's farmers are already laying the foundations for next year's harvest. Thus, 268 thousand tons of spring, grain, and leguminous seeds have been planted today, about 91.4% of the need. 36 thousand tons of seeds have been filled up for sale. More than half of them are seeds of the super-elite and elite. The insurance fund has been formed by 78% (28.8 thousand tons) and the carryover fund of winter grains by 85% (78 thousand tons). Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Ilshat Fazrakhmanov announced this at an operational government meeting.

Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted that the vital task of ensuring the 2024 harvest is the accumulation of mineral fertilizers. Their number is planned to be increased to 215 thousand tons (this year – 211 thousand tons). This work will contribute to achieving the 2024 goal of producing at least 4 million tons of grain. In addition, the republic's farmers have completed the sowing of winter crops. 409 thousand hectares were sown with winter crops, 110 thousand hectares higher than last year.

Bashinform News Agency reported that grains and legumes in Bashkiria were collected in 97% of the sown areas. 3.225 million tons of these crops have already been threshed. This is 1 million tons more than the republic consumes.
