Marat Khusnullin thanked Bashkiria for meeting indicators for national projects

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin thanked several regions, including Bashkiria, for meeting national project and program indicators.

“I would like to note the high level of work in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Tatarstan, Penza region, Bashkiria, Chechnya, the republics of Buryatia and Adygea, the Samara and Tyumen regions, the Chuvash Republic,” said Marat Khusnullin, speaking at a meeting of the presidium of the government commission on regional development, at which summed up the interim results of the construction and road industries for the nine months of 2023 and discussed the implementation of national projects in the regions.

Despite specific difficulties, there is generally a positive trend in the development of the construction industry. The volume of work increased by 9% compared to the same period last year, the press service of the Russian government reported.

Urban development potential increased 2.3% over nine months to 421 million square meters. As stated at the meeting, the volume of existing construction permits increased and reached 157.2 million square meters.

“There is a good increase in housing commissioning. Since the beginning of the year, 79.7 million square meters have been commissioned. At the same time, the volume of apartment buildings increased by 5.5% compared to last year. I would also like to note the confident pace of mortgage development. 1.45 million loans were issued in nine months, 62% more than last year. There are also excellent dynamics in all preferential programs. 657.3 thousand loans with state support were issued. There is an increase of 84% compared to the same period last year,” the Deputy Prime Minister added.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Irek Fayzullin, said that 33.6 million square meters of new projects were launched in nine months. This is 15% more than in 2022.
