Expert RA agency confirmed credit rating of Bashkiria at “ruAA+” level

The Expert RA rating agency confirmed the credit rating of Bashkiria on the national scale at the level of “ruAA+”, the rating outlook is stable, the press service of the republican government told Bashinform News Agency.

“In the face of new economic challenges, the republic maintains its position in the credit rating, which confirms the correctness of the priorities in the implementation of several key projects for the territorial, investment, and infrastructural development of the republic, as well as the effective measures taken to balance and sustain the budget,” said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Finance of the Republic Lira Igtisamova.

According to experts, Bashkiria is characterized by high dimensional data.

According to the region, GRP at the end of 2022 amounted to 2.2 trillion rubles, 3.5% higher than 2021 in comparable prices. In general, for 2023, GRP growth is expected to be 3.2% compared to the 2022 level.

The republic's industry showed steady positive dynamics - the industrial production index amounted to 103.6%.

The volume of investments in fixed capital for 2022 amounted to 512.4 billion rubles. This is 5.9% higher than the 2021 level.

Analysts emphasized that the republic is pursuing a balanced, conservative budget policy. Its primary focus continues to be the concentration of financial resources to solve problems in achieving national development goals with priority financing of social support measures for the population. Bashkiria's debt burden is at an economically safe level.
