Average salary in Bashkiria has increased 1.5 times over past five years
The average monthly salary of one employee in Bashkiria in 2022 reached 49,460 rubles. Its level increased 1.5 times compared to 2018 (33,753 rubles).
The republic has become one of the few regions of Russia in which, from January 1, 2023, the minimum wage for workers in the real sector of the economy is set at an amount exceeding the federal minimum by 5.7%.
At the end of last year, Bashkiria, for the first time, hit the top 10 regions - leaders in the federal labor market rating. In addition, the republic is among the top 3 regions in attracting federal funds to reduce labor market tensions. Thus, for 2020-2023, support for 2 billion rubles was provided to employers. This made it possible to maintain employment and employ more than 40 thousand citizens of the republic.
