60% of sugar beet areas were harvested in Bashkiria
To date, 30 thousand hectares of sugar beets have been harvested in Bashkiria - 61% of all areas. In total, 49 thousand hectares of this crop were sown in 19 districts for this year’s harvest.
The work has already been completed in areas with beets that did not exceed 350 hectares - Arkhangelsky, Ilishevsky, and Karmaskalinsky districts.
At the same time, the largest volume of root crops was dug up in the Chishminsky district - 198 thousand tons. Good indicators are also in the Buzdyaksky (139 thousand tons) and Blagovarsky (121 thousand tons) districts.
The average yield of root crops is now 32.1 tons/hectare.
