Republican budget draft for 2024 discussed in Bashkiria government

In the government of Bashkiria, the Strategic Committee reviewed the main characteristics of the draft republican budget for 2024 and the medium term. Compared to last year's preliminary plans, budget items have been significantly increased. Remember that the planned income was 245.5 billion rubles, expenses were 252.5 billion rubles, and the deficit was 7 billion rubles.

The current project assumes that revenues in 2024 will be 289 billion rubles, expenses will be 299 billion rubles, and the deficit will be 10 billion rubles.

Budget revenues will consist of tax and non-tax revenues - 218.3 billion rubles, gratuitous revenues - 70.7 billion rubles.

“The most important component of the draft budget for the upcoming three-year period is to guarantee the strict fulfillment of all social obligations to citizens, including support for families with children, the provision of social services for elderly citizens, the disabled, children without parental care and families in difficult life situations, medicine providing preferential categories of citizens,” emphasized Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Republic Lira Igtisamova.

As a rule, already adopted budgets can be adjusted. For example, this year, the republic has increased revenues above planned initially and improved support from the federal budget, thus allowing the regional treasury to increase spending.
