Belarusian companies are interested in localizing production in Bashkiria

Based on the results of negotiations that, as part of the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export,” were held by the representative of Bashkiria at the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Belarus, Konstantin Klimin, with the heads of companies of the friendly republic, they expressed interest in localizing their production in the territory of Bashkiria. The press service of the government of Bashkortostan reported this.

The participants in the negotiations were the heads of Santa Bremor, Savushkin Product, 1AK-GROUP Holding, and Battery Alliance. The meetings took place in Brest, on the 12th Forum of Sister Cities of Belarus and Russia.

The trade turnover between Bashkiria and Belarus, which increased by 6% following the results of 7 months of this year, indicates excellent prospects for such cooperation. In Belarus, chemical industry products, metals, food products, and engineering products produced in Bashkiria are in great demand. In turn, favorable conditions for investors have been created in our republic. Thanks to this support, a Belarusian machine-building company Amkodor production facility was built in Bashkiria in a record 9 months.

Cooperation is also developing at the level of cities and municipalities in Bashkiria and Belarus. Thus, Ufa and Minsk have been twin cities since 2017 and are implementing many joint projects. The Birsky district of Bashkiria and the Volkovysk district of the Grodno region also became twin cities in 2023, as reported by Bashinform News Agency. They hold regular joint events.
