Russian government will allocate another 10 billion rubles for preferential loans to farmers
The Russian government will allocate another 10 billion rubles to provide preferential loans to farmers at a rate of 5% for the production and processing of agricultural products. This was reported in the telegram channel of the federal government.
The decision is because, in the second half of 2023, the Bank of Russia raised the key rate, resulting in the issuance of these loans being suspended. At the end of September, 45 billion rubles had already been allocated from the government reserve fund for these purposes. The decisions will help not only to service the current obligations of farmers but also to implement new projects, increase the production of agricultural raw materials and food, and preserve a wide selection of high-quality domestic products for citizens.
Bashinform News Agency reported that the republic’s farmers allocated 2.6 billion rubles to purchase agricultural equipment.
