Bashkiria hit Top 30 Russian regions in mortgage availability
Over the past year, the availability of mortgages has increased significantly in Bashkiria. This is evidenced by the data from rating regions by mortgage affordability, prepared by RIA Novosti. Bashkiria is in 26th place, whereas in the same ranking last year, it was 39th.
The top three leaders in the ranking are the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Magadan Region, and Chukotka. About 60% of families here can purchase a two-room apartment on credit. The last places were occupied by Sevastopol, Karachay-Cherkessia, and Dagestan, with indicators at most 10%. In Bashkiria, this figure is now 30.7%, while a year earlier it was 24.4%. St. Petersburg took 25th place in the ranking, one line ahead of Bashkiria. Moscow occupies 50th place in the current order. In Russia, the share of families with official labor income for whom a mortgage is available is 27.8%.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that 1.8 million square meters of housing had been put into operation in Bashkiria as of August. This figure is 5% higher than last year's figures.
