57 thousand tons of sunflower seeds were threshed in Bashkiria
In Bashkiria, 36 thousand hectares of sunflower have been harvested in 29 districts, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic reported. In the spring, 37 districts sowed 415 thousand hectares with this crop. The most significant oilseed harvest was threshed in the Alsheevsky district - 6.9 thousand tons. A good harvest was also collected in the Davlekanovsky and Dyurtyulinsky districts.
The gross harvest of oilseeds in the region amounted to 57 thousand tons, with an average yield of 1.6 t/ha.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, in 2022, the oilseed harvest amounted to more than 449 thousand tons with an average yield of 1.55 t/ha, and sowing was carried out on almost 303 thousand hectares.
