Almost 85% of the area has been harvested in Bashkiria. The harvest amounted to about 2.8 million tons with an average yield of 1.95 t/ha. Ten districts are already completing the harvesting campaign.
In total, about 280 thousand hectares remain to be harvested, mainly buckwheat, millet, and corn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Bashkiria Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said at an operational meeting of the government.
678.4 thousand tons of winter grain were threshed with an average yield of 2.3 t/ha.
The yield of spring grains this year is: oats - 1.67 t/ha, barley - 2.03 t/ha, wheat - 1.86 t/ha, buckwheat - 1.02 t/ha.
The Sterlitamak region traditionally leads in overall grain production – here, farmers collected more than 180 thousand tons. Also, more than 100 thousand tons were threshed in the Aurgazinsky, Karmaskalinsky, Davlekanovsky, and Chishminsky districts.
The leaders in yield were the Karmaskalinsky, Chekmagushevsky, Aurgazinsky, Sterlitamaksky, and Chishminsky districts.
Harvesting of oilseeds is currently underway intensively. Currently, 15% of the area has been threshed, and about 50 thousand tons of oilseeds have been threshed.
Rapeseed yield - 1.04 t/ha; flax - 0.74 t/ha; mustard - 0.65 t/ha.
Farms have also begun harvesting sunflowers. So far, only 0.7% of the plan has been harvested - 2.9 thousand tons of seeds have been threshed.
