

Sugar beets are harvested in 14 out of 19 beet-growing regions in Bashkiria.
As of today, 12% of the area has been excavated, 160 thousand tons of root crops have been dug up, the average yield is 26.0 t/ha, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Republic, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said at an operational meeting of the government.
At the same time, sugar factories are processing sugar beets. As of September 14, the Chishminsky Sugar Factory produced 39 thousand tons and processed 18 thousand tons of beets, producing 1.34 thousand tons of sugar.
"Raevsakhar" prepared 24 thousand tons, processed 2.5 thousand tons, and produced 34 tons of sugar.
The Chishminsky Sugar Factory launched production on September 7. The processing capacity of the enterprise is 5 thousand tons of root crops per day. The planned volume of harvesting and processing sugar beets for the 2023 harvest is 844 thousand tons, of which Bashkir-Agroinvest supplied 709 thousand tons.
“Raevsakhar” launched production on September 10. This year, they plan to reach a processing capacity of 5.5 thousand tons daily and harvest and process about 725 thousand tons of beets from the new crop.
