On his Telegram channel, the Prime Minister of Bashkortostan, Andrey Nazarov, told how the republic has developed in recent years. He timed the post to coincide with his third anniversary as prime minister.
According to Andrey Nazarov, despite the challenges facing the republic, notably the pandemic and others, people’s lives are improving. Thus, with federal support in Bashkiria, 333 medical and obstetric stations were renovated. The average life expectancy exceeded 73 years, and mortality decreased. In 2022-2023, 140 schools were overhauled; over the past 3 years, the funding for science has tripled.
“Despite all the turbulence of recent years, investments are coming to our region. Supporting business during periods of pandemic and sanctions showed entrepreneurs that Bashkortostan is a reliable partner. Over the past 3 years, the volume of regional investments has increased by 40%. This is reflected in people's income level - the average monthly salary increased 1.5 times by 2018 and exceeded 50 thousand rubles. This means that the republic ensures good development dynamics for the coming years,” noted Andrey Nazarov.
Meanwhile, there are still many issues to be resolved. Andrey Nazarov noted that he and the republic's government members know the enormous responsibility entrusted to them.
“Our ultimate goal, set by the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov, is to enter Russia's top 5 most comfortable regions. Our immediate goals are to reach an average salary of 54.4 thousand rubles per month and a housing supply of 30 square meters per person. This is a feasible task that will become a platform for improving the quality of life in the region,” wrote Andrey Nazarov.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency told how the republic is becoming attractive for business.
