In Bashkiria, inflation in August was 0.1% compared to July and 3.7% by August 2022, Bashkir Statistical Agency reports. In general, in the Russian Federation - 0.3% month-on-month and 5.2% year-on-year.
Inflation in the food market was -0.7% compared to July and 2.8% compared to August. The seasonal factor played a role: vegetables fell in price the most. Potatoes became cheaper by 28.6%, beets, carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, onions - by 21-36.7%, bananas, apples - by 1.8-2.1%, grapes - by 15.8%. At the same time, oranges rose in price by 32.6%.
In the non-food sector, prices for passenger cars continued to rise (for the month - by 2.1%, since the beginning of the year - by 10.4%), gasoline (by 2.2% and 5.6%, respectively), diesel fuel (by 2 .1% and 3.1%), gold jewelry (by 1.6% and 19.7%).
Among essential goods, the increase in prices for liquid detergents and cleaning products, hand creams, wet wipes, toilet paper, and laundry soap amounted to 2.4-5.4% per month.
The rise in prices for drugs compared to the year was 9%.
Total inflation in the non-food sector is 1.15% month-on-month and 2.1% year-on-year.
Services. A symbolic decrease was recorded - -0.2% by July and 7.44% by August 2022. Fares on long-distance trains in August fell by an average of 16.1% compared to July. Trips to Belarus, Turkey, the countries of Transcaucasia, the Black Sea coast of Russia, and Crimea became cheaper by 2-11.4%. At the same time, trips to Asian countries, the UAE and Egypt, increased prices by 1.7-6.9%.
Prices for clothing repairs, dry cleaning, installation of plastic windows, and rent for two- and one-room apartments have increased. The fee for using a consumer loan increased by 4.5%, the annual cost of a voluntary home insurance policy - by 3.1%.
