Ufa entered the top 3 most expensive cities in Russia, according to SuperJob. According to the responses of surveyed service clients, Moscow was in first place, Rostov-on-Don in second, Krasnodar and Ufa in third, St. Petersburg in fourth, and Nizhny Novgorod in fifth.
Respondents named real estate the most “unaffordable” purchase in most megacities. But, for example, Ufa and Perm residents named food products the most “expensive” factor, and Voronezh residents called housing and communal services. If 49% of Ufa residents surveyed consider their city expensive, then in the neighboring town of over a million people - Chelyabinsk - 40% of such residents, and in Omsk - 35%.
As Bashinform News Agency reported based on Bashkir Statistical Agency data, food inflation in July amounted to 1.83% year-on-year after 0.25% in June.
