Vacancies offered to Russians are almost 4 times higher than number of unemployed
The number of unemployed people registered in employment centers in Russia is 489 thousand people. At the same time, the database of vacancies of the portal “Work of Russia” is about 1.85 million offers for job seekers. The Russian Government reports that these data were announced at a working group meeting on restoring the labor market.
In the regions, the implementation of additional measures to ensure employment continues: 36 thousand people are employed under the program of subsidizing recruitment; 62 thousand citizens were trained in professions that are in demand in local labor markets. In addition, training contracts with 122 enterprises were concluded in 39 regions.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that unemployment in Bashkiria remains at 3.1%.
