Bashkiria delegation presented project for "smart" systems implementation in Ufa campus

The delegation of Bashkiria took part in the strategic session of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, “World-class campuses: smart operation as a tool for innovation”. The work was carried out as part of the project to create the Ufa Interuniversity Student Campus of the Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center.

As the republic government told the Bashinform News Agency, the session participants presented the best practices for introducing "digital twins" of modern educational and medical facilities. A "Digital Twin" is a virtual copy of a physical object and the processes taking place in this object. Such an "electronic twin" collects information about the building and uses mathematical modeling to create a data-rich "live" model of the object, the building.

The latest methods of managing the scientific and educational facility, which will be the Ufa campus under construction, will make it possible to popularize the introduction of "smart" systems for ensuring the functioning of new extensive facilities in Bashkiria. This project makes it possible to continuously monitor the state of an object, monitor critical operating modes, and ultimately manage the building as a whole and its premises economically.

We add that the project is being implemented within the "Science and Universities" national project.
