

At an operational meeting, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said that wild honey production in the region is more than 6 tons or 0.1% of the total honey produced.
As Fazrakhmanov noted, today in Bashkiria, over 60 beekeepers are officially registered as producers of wild-caught honey. At the same time, according to his data, fishing is widespread in the mountain forest zone.
The Vice Prime Minister of the Republican Government also reminded about the program of support for beekeeping launched in the republic.
“As part of the Program for 2023, 20 million rubles of regional budget funds have been allocated, which will be used to compensate for part of the costs up to 50%,” Ilshat Fazrakhmanov explained.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the number of onboard bee colonies in Bashkiria will be increased to 5,000 by 2030.
