Dietary fiber will be produced in Bashkiria
The expert council of the SEZ "Alga" considered the investment project of LLC "Fiber Nutrition" worth 5.44 billion rubles. The company intends to build a plant to produce dietary fiber from vegetable raw materials (from sugar beet pulp). The production capacity is 5.6 thousand tons of fiber and 1.5 thousand tons of pectin.
This will replace imported ingredients for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The construction of the factory is expected to start next year, to be put into operation in 2026. It will be able to employ 82 people.
Fiber Nutrition LLC was registered in December 2022 in Ishimbay. The main activity of the company is the production of animal feed.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, another import-substituting business case for producing medical test tubes has also been developed in the republic.
