Andrey Nazarov offered to organize days of Kazakhstan in Bashkiria

On his Telegram channel, Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov announced that negotiations with one of the local companies were successfully held in Kazakhstan. According to him, the issue of the further fate of the Sibay Mining and Processing Plant was on the agenda.

The Republic's Prime Minister also met with Kazakhstan's Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, Marat Karabaev, and Deputy Minister Timur Karagoishin.

In addition, a meeting was held with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan Alexei Borodavkin and Trade Representative of the Russian Federation Anton Loginov. Andrey Nazarov noted that Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan have long been linked by close cooperation in various fields. The common roots of peoples, similar cultures, and related languages play an essential role.

“According to the results of 2022, Kazakhstan is in second place in the foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan with a share of more than 9%. In the first five months of this year, mutual trade reached $239 million. At the same time, exports grew by 9.5% and amounted to $204 million,” said Andrey Nazarov.

Aleksey Borodavkin stressed that Russian-Kazakh relations are developing dynamically. This year marks a significant milestone - the 10th anniversary of the treaty between countries on good neighborliness and alliance in the 21st century. He also hoped that Bashkiria would significantly contribute to holding an interregional forum between Russia and Kazakhstan.

“On my behalf, I proposed to organize days of Kazakhstan in Bashkortostan on the eve of the INNOPROM exhibition, which will be held in July 2024 in Yekaterinburg. Today is the second and final day of our visit to fraternal Kazakhstan. There is a lot of important and creative work ahead,” the Prime Minister of Bashkortostan emphasized.
