"Bashkir Horse" brand right receipt by Bashkiria commented by Rospatent Head

The Head of Rospatent, Yuri Zubov, noted that the certificate for the right to use the name of origin of "Bashkir Horse" emphasizes that this horse is unique.

“The brand allows you to commercialize this right. It is a trigger for the development of tourism around this brand. The law allows you to breed a purebred pedigree Bashkir horse as it should be. This right has now been confirmed and registered by the state,” Yury Zubov said, answering questions from journalists.

He also stressed that Bashkortostan is one of the unique regions constantly striving to register regional brands.

“Now, we have already registered eight such brands in our register. For example, these are “Bashkir honey” and “Kurai”, three types of mineral water. There are still applications, but no decision has been made yet. We will soon be able to see new regional brands,” said the head of Rospatent.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported regarding the Head of the Region, Radiy Khabirov, Bashkortostan received a Rospatent certificate for the “Bashkir Horse” brand.

Only local horse breeders can now use the “Bashkir Horse” brand. Calling horses not raised by the copyright holder Bashkir will no longer be possible.
