Bashkiria hit Top-5 in industrial parks quantity

Bashkiria took 4th place in the number of industrial parks in Russia and 2nd place in the Volga Federal District, Andrey Nazarov said during a meeting of the Republic's Government.

Currently, 12 industrial parks and 19 industrial technoparks are registered in Bashkiria, employing about 170 residents. There are also more than 50 potential sites for creating new industrial parks in the region, the volume of planned investments is estimated at 16.9 billion rubles, and the number of potential residents is about 304 companies, creating 2,800 new jobs.

The Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Innovation, together with the municipalities, is working on the issue of creating industrial parks. The creation of industrial parks "Blagoveshchensky" and "Neftekamsky" is in the stage of detailed study. Both projects are included in the list of priority investment projects of Bashkiria. In addition, the boundaries of the Alga special economic zone have been expanded by joining the territory of the Ufimsky industrial park, Industry Minister Alexander Sheldyaev said.

He noted that the republic had passed the federal selection and, in the coming years, is counting on state support in the form of other budgetary transfers from the federal budget to reimburse part of the costs for the creation, modernization, and reconstruction of infrastructure facilities of industrial parks, technoparks. The total amount of support is 2.1 billion rubles for 2024-2026, of which about 800 million rubles are planned for 2024.

Recall that earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that at the end of 2022, Bashkiria took third place in the rating of the effectiveness of the implementation of industrial policy in the regions of Russia, losing only to Moscow and the Moscow Region. The results were announced on July 10, within the framework of the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom" in Yekaterinburg.
