

25% of all areas with grain and leguminous crops have been mowed in Bashkiria, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region told Bashinform News Agency.
“The gross harvest exceeded 880 thousand tons with an average yield of 2.4 tons per hectare,” the agricultural department stated.
Harvesting of winter crops is nearing completion. 80 percent of all areas, or more than 240,000 hectares, have been mowed. Over 600 thousand tons of grain have been harvested, of which over 400 thousand tons are winter wheat.
Practically all districts have started harvesting spring cereals and leguminous crops. The villagers threshed 277,000 tons of grain, 160,000 tons of barley. Everything else is peas, oats, and spring wheat.
“The largest harvest so far has been threshed by the grain growers of the Sterlitamaksky region - 72,000 tons. In the Aurgazinsky district, the grain harvest amounted to 66,000 tons, in the Karmaskalinsky district - 55,000 tons," the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria reported.
