Ufa Airport set new record for served passengers

Ufa airport serves half a million passengers per month. This was reported to Bashinform News Agency in the press service of the capital air hub. The company summarized the work results for one of the year's most “peak” months — July. This year, for the first time in history, the monthly passenger flow of the Ufa air harbor exceeded half a million and amounted to 526,000 people. This figure is 15% higher than the same period last year. At the same time, the number of passengers on domestic lines increased by 9% and on international lines - by 57%.

“Despite all the difficulties faced by the aviation industry, this result was achieved thanks to our joint work with partner airlines on opening newly demanded flights,” commented the Ufa airport. “The record number of passengers served per month indicates a high demand for air transportation, the availability of tickets for residents of Bashkortostan, and interesting route offers, primarily to resort destinations.”

In addition, the work results for the first half of 2023 were summed up at Ufa Airport. During this time, the Ufa air hub served more than 2.2 million passengers, demonstrating an increase of 26% compared to last year. At the same time, 1.9 million people used domestic flights (an increase of 21%), and 300,000 people used international flights (an increase of 89%). Flights were operated by 31 airlines to 67 destinations, including 49 on domestic routes and 18 on international routes.
