The Ufa City Hall signed a contract to install tourist navigation signs for 20 million rubles. Installation of information signs and stands for tourists will cost the city 13 million rubles. Another 8.6 million will go to the indexes.
By November 10, 60 directive signs of tourist navigation, 114 information plates, five information stands with Braille, six park stands, 13 route steles, and five tactile schemes should appear on the city streets.
Recall that the design of the plates was developed by the project of Artemy Lebedev's studio.
As Bashinform News Agency learned, work on installing new tourist signs is being carried out to develop Ufa's tourism potential, following the methodological manual for creating a system of road signs to cultural heritage sites developed by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
To form a stable inbound tourist flow and improve the tourist attractiveness of the capital of Bashkiria, a concept for developing domestic and inbound tourism in Ufa has been created. The main priority areas for tourism development are business and events. Promising areas of tourism are industrial, gastronomic, and medical.
