The 2023 harvest was assessed at the Field Day workshop.
"We expect to get a harvest that allows us to provide the region with a large surplus, and we plan to harvest at least 3.4 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, about 600 thousand tons of oilseeds, 1.6-1.7 million tons of sugar beet. We will develop exports. Despite sanctions pressure on our country and region, we are looking for options to make equipment cheaper and products more expensive. We now see China as the main partner, and we plan to develop the direction of the African continent. At the same time, we see that the frozen grain market has already begun to move, and product prices began to grow," said Republican Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
As Bashinform News Agency found out, harvesting work is happening in 41 republic districts today. 87.5 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops were mown, and 70 thousand hectares were threshed. Gross grain threshing exceeded 190 thousand tons.
