Bashkiria has established constructive relations with Russian Ministry of Construction
Bashkortostan has established constructive relations with the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of Russia, the Head of the Region, Radiy Khabirov, told reporters at the IV International Forum "Smart City - Smart Country".
According to him, thanks to the active position of the Ministry of Construction and the Russian Government as a whole, which, in challenging economic conditions, formed an urban planning and construction policy that did not allow, under economic sanctions, to stop construction in the country, including housing.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the IV International Forum "Smart City - Smart Country", dedicated to cities' development and digital transformation, opened in Ufa on July 26.
The Smart City - Smart Country Forum is the largest platform for professional dialogue, where best practices are exchanged, and new ideas in urban development are created.
The main goal is to ensure a direct dialogue between business and government. Representatives of federal, regional, and municipal authorities, state corporations, heads of industry associations, and business representatives attend the forum.
The forum's business program is dedicated to current trends and innovations in the field of sustainable development of territories. Participants can present their projects and exchange experiences with experts from different industries. Among them are the digital transformation of management, construction, education, healthcare, tourism, transport, road construction, and energy.
The Ministry of Construction of Russia has implemented the Smart City project since 2018 as part of the national projects Housing and Urban Environment and Digital Economy.
