First 100,000 tons of grain harvested in Bashkiria
To date, winter and spring crops are being harvested in 36 districts of Bashkiria, the regional Ministry of Agriculture press service told Bashinform News Agency.
According to the latest information from the agricultural department, the gross harvest of grain and oilseeds currently exceeds 96,000 tons.
“The most significant share is still for winter wheat, harvested on an area of more than 25 thousand hectares, threshed 79.5 thousand tons of grain. Also, winter rye, peas, barley, and some oilseeds are actively harvested in the region,” the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria said. — The leaders are the agrarians of the Aurgazinsky and Sterlitamaksky districts. The farms of these municipalities collected 20,000 tons of new crop grain.
Recall that this year the grain growers of Bashkiria will have to harvest more than 1.7 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops.
