Forage harvesting continues in Bashkiria and silage harvesting has begun
Fodder preparation for the upcoming wintering of livestock continues in Bashkiria. Agrarians of the region use every fine day, given that the year is not yet very favorable for the herbage.
As of July 25, more than 707,000 tons of haylage and 293,000 tons of hay have been harvested in the region. This is about half of the planned volumes.
In Sharanskoye and Yanaulskoye, silage began to be laid. So far, 3.2 thousand tons of succulent feed have been harvested.
According to Bashinform News Agency, forage grass areas in the region in 2023 will occupy 610,000 hectares. It should be noted that the agrarians of Bashkortostan set themselves to prepare about 2.8 tons of fodder units per conditional head of livestock.
