Inflation was 1.6% in June compared to June 2022 in Bashkiria
Inflation is accelerating in Bashkiria, as in the whole country. The spring recession is over - in June, the annual growth rate of prices in the republic amounted to 1.59%.
Compare February - 9.6%, March - 0.7%, April - -0.6%, May - -0.06%.
The inflation rate in the food sector in June 2023 is minus 0.25% (food prices are lower than a year ago), in the non-food industry - minus 1.23%, and in the service sector - + 8.6%.
At the end of the half-year, the average inflation was 2.7% in the Volga Federal District and 3.25% in the country.
The acceleration of inflation was affected by a decrease in supply in some markets, an increase in demand in the segments of non-food products and services, and a weakening of the ruble, the Republican National Bank explained to Bashinform News Agency.
