Federal Treasury Head noted Bashkiria management team’s well-coordinated work

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, met with the head of the Federal Treasury, Roman Artyukhin, who arrived in Ufa to participate in the All-Russian Anti-Corruption Forum.

Radiy Khabirov thanked the head of the federal department for the decision to hold an anti-corruption forum in Bashkiria.

“I hope we have created all the necessary conditions for fruitful work. The Republic is developing dynamically, and we effectively interact with the federal authorities. The region receives significant financial resources through the federal budget within national projects, infrastructure, and social programs. In this regard, the role of the Treasury is very high. And we have established absolute business interaction,” said Radiy Khabirov.

At the meeting, issues of the efficiency of the federal budget execution in the Republic, control over the targeted spending of funds, and the implementation of large infrastructure projects in Bashkiria were discussed.

“This is not the first time I have come to the Republic. It is encouraging to see that it is changing for the better. It can be seen how well the management team of the region works. Thank you for being so supportive in organizing the All-Russian Anti-Corruption Forum. As part of his work, we see that we have full transparency on budget funds, the system for allocating them and monitoring their spending is working,” said Roman Artyukhin.

Radiy Khabirov thanked the head of the Federal Treasury for cooperation with the region and congratulated him on the 100th anniversary of the formation of Russia’s state financial control bodies this year. In February 2023, the Republic celebrated the 25th anniversary of the regional department of the Federal Treasury.
