From 26 to 28 June, Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan, hosts the 10th Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus. Representatives of travel companies of the two states spoke about how cooperation between Bashkortostan and other regions in the field of tourism is developing at a meeting at the exhibition of achievements of the national economy.
Director of the autonomous non-profit organization "Karachay-Cherkessia Tourism" Renat Khatuaev presented the stand of the Ministry of Tourism and Resorts of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
“In Ufa, we represent our region's tourism and industrial potential. By the way, many shops in the capital of Bashkortostan have drinking water from Karachay-Cherkessia, which is very nice,” said Renat Khatuaev.
The guest shared his impressions of his stay in Ufa. He also noted that in the field of tourism of Bashkortostan, several projects might be of interest to representatives of the tourism business of Karachay-Cherkessia.
“We look forward to meeting colleagues from different regions of Russia from the forum, and we want to cooperate at all levels. In general, domestic tourism in Russia today is experiencing a huge rise,” Renat Khatuaev emphasized.
The representative of the Republican Unitary Enterprise "Tsentrkurort" of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Olga Bardashevich, spoke about her enterprise.
“The management system of the President of the Republic of Belarus includes four sanatoriums located on the territory of our country, as well as three facilities in Russia, national parks, and a reserve that provides high-level tourist services. Centerkurort is located in the capital, and we have a network of offices throughout the Republic of Belarus. We are ready to offer national recreation and tourist programs,” Olga Bardashevich assured.
She also noted the activity in developing cooperation between the two allied states in the field of tourism.
“Not so long ago, the Minsk-Ufa flight was launched. Especially for this flight, we have developed package programs for 8 days and 7 nights so that the residents of Bashkortostan can relax, take treatment and visit excursions. This year, contacts with Bashkortostan companies began to be actively established,” she said.
For the event participants, a tour of the historical part of Ufa and a boat trip along the Belaya River were also organized.
As Bashinform News Agency wrote earlier, this spring, the Bashkir-Belarusian Longevity program was launched, which became very popular among the residents of Bashkortostan. At the same time, everyone who has already made such trips share only positive feedback.
This year, 30 million rubles have been allocated from the republic’s budget for the program’s implementation. The funds are used to subsidize part of the costs of tour operators - for 15 thousand rubles per person.
The total cost of the tour is at most 40 thousand rubles. Thus, participation in the program will cost tourists about 25 thousand rubles.
