State support for investors increased by 50% in Bashkiria in 2022

State support for investors increased by almost 50% in Bashkiria in 2022 and amounted to 14.9 billion rubles (in 2021 - 10 billion rubles). These budgetary funds are aimed at creating the infrastructure of industrial parks, technology parks, and a special economic zone, supporting the activities of agricultural producers and small and medium-sized businesses.

As a result, as it became known at SPIEF 2023, the republic has risen one more line in the ASI rating, taking 4th place.

The volume of tax benefits last year amounted to 18.4 billion rubles for 60 categories of taxpayers (48 categories in 2021), with an increase in 2021 of 5.1 billion rubles, or 37.8%.

The largest share in stimulating tax benefits was the investment tax deduction for corporate income tax and corporate income tax and corporate property tax benefits for priority investment projects.

“At the expense of the budget of the Republic of Belarus, investors and entrepreneurs receive significant financial support in the form of subsidies and budget investments. Bashkortostan is one of the leaders in reduced tax rates provided to investors, the volume and number of which are growing yearly. Most of them are aimed at stimulating the country's economy and business and investment activity. The volume of such benefits amounted to about 15 billion rubles, which exceeds 80% of the total,” commented the Deputy Prime Minister – Republican Minister of Finance Lira Igtisamova.
