Radiy Khabirov took part in plenary session of SPIEF-2023

Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov took part in the plenary session of the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), where Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke.

The Head of State spoke about the current situation in the economy and promising directions for the country’s development.

“The mood was wary a year ago, including in our business circles. And, frankly, few people foresaw how events would develop. In such circumstances, it was fundamentally important to give the business a foothold, strengthen confidence in the policy being pursued, emphasize the inviolability of fundamental market institutions, freedom of entrepreneurship and guarantees for property protection,” Vladimir Putin noted. — We have maintained a responsible, balanced budgetary and monetary policy. Their effective combination made it possible to reach the minimum levels of unemployment and inflation, which is now lower in Russia than in many Western countries, both in the European economic zone and in other regions and is close to a historical minimum of 2.9 percent. Unemployment is 3.3 percent. It has never been so low in our history.”

The President of Russia outlined the main principles for the implementation of economic and social policy, as well as the development of international relations.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency wrote that President Vladimir Putin announced an increase in the minimum wage by 18.5 percent from January 1, 2024.
