Prime Minister of Bashkiria spoke about his impressions of SPIEF-2023

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023 has ended. Andrey Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, shared his opinion on its results on his Telegram channel.

He noted that Bashkortostan was again one of the most prominent participants.

“Almost everyone noted it. And the organizers generously appreciated both the stand of the republic and the Bashkortostan restaurant. ASI and business associations have raised the investment climate in our region to 4th place,” Andrey Nazarov wrote.

According to him, the forum showed that the international isolation of Russia turned out to be a myth. Russia is building a development strategy around its interests in partnership with the UAE, Brazil, China, India, and other countries. The beneficial nature of the agreements confirms this: technologies are exported to the country, which is subsequently localized and already becomes import-substituting production. Thus, Bashkiria cooperates with 112 countries, systematically and systematically expanding these contacts. The regions will form the basis of the country's development in the coming decades. Most of the presented stands were devoted to disclosing their investment potential. Among the priorities for the development of the economy are improving the quality of the labor market through the introduction of lean production principles, strengthening the partnership between the state and business in the modernization of enterprises, and the vocational and higher education system. All this is done for the people of the country. Thus, Bashkiria has set itself the goal of doubling citizens’ income by 2036.

“The general impression of the forum is that Russia is consolidated, and the regions are joining forces to find breakthrough solutions to invest in the future. Bashkortostan already offers innovative solutions in unmanned technologies, cyber-physical platforms, ecology, and bioengineering. And now, the time has come to implement the agreements concluded and to realize our intentions. We continue to work!” Andrey Nazarov summed up.
